"Our Journey" is a cross media project that extends on the artistic works inspired by the YWCA Encore program.
"Our Journey" is based on a short documentary film and a photography exhibition inspired by the YWCA Encore program. It expands on the vision to communicate the journey of women who have experienced breast cancer and the benefits of the program. YWCA Encore is a specially designed program to support women physically, mentally and emotionally in their recovery from breast cancer surgery.
The purpose of the website is to create an online community for sharing the breast cancer journey and to build a community orientated site that develops continuous and increasing visitors.
The site was developed by ©Media Forward, a cross media production team, including Kate Gwynne, Maher Berro, Beth Bruce and Gretel Van-lane. In order to comply with the client's brief, the site aims to engage a diverse audience.
