Wetlands are vulnerable and easily altered by human activity. It benefit us in many ways because they have many functions. The Wetland education programs and services aim to promote wetland values, conservation and sustainable ecosystem management through communication, education and public awareness. Here is intended to facilitate sharing of techniques, skills, tools, and ideas on and about wetland education. It is for college and university professors, high school teaching assistants, and students; however some resources may be useful in K-12 or other educational settings.

Education values offered include:

  1. promoting wetland values through communication, education and public awareness

  2. demonstrating sustainable wetland restoration and management

  3. community capacity-building in wise use of wetlands

  4. demonstrating sustainable wetland -based Recreation

  5. providing a venue for wetland-related community organisations
