WetlandLink relaunched
The new WetlandLink will be a tool landholders can use to get in touch with incentive programs run through CMAs in coastal NSW. It will also contain practical information to assist landholders to participate effectively in those programs. As always, WetlandLink will provide valuable wetland management information to all who wish to read it. Other topics currently covered are Wetland Science and Research, Wetland Management Techniques And Tools, Wetland Restoration Case Studies, how community involvement is having an impact on wetland conservation and restoration and legislation and guidelines relating to wetland conservation and the environment.

Mullet Fishermen and WetlandCare make 2005/2006 Fish Habitat Rehabilitation funding available
Recently, the Richmond River Mullet Fishermen donated another $5000 toward the 2005/2006 round of fish habitat rehabilitation. To assist WetlandCare Australia in finding suitable sites for rehabilitation, we are asking the community for help.

Staff Changes
With the Final Report for the Fish Unlimited project was sent in and accepted, Abigail Foley's role as Project Officer has been completed and we had to say a sad farewell to her. On the positive side of staff changes, Che Golus has also joined our team here in the Ballina Office and we have welcomed back Megan Westlake.

The CEO's Desk
Wonderful things have been happening for wetlands, and the environment generally, around Australia. It's great that WetlandCare Australia is a part of that, as its great to see our dedicated team of professionals and volunteers deliver concrete outcomes in partnership with property owners, community, and government.
